Well Deserved Michelin Star
As evidenced by all those Teslas, Mercedes and BMWs parked out front, this is a posh spot for fine-dining and people watching in the Rosewood Sand Hill hotel. It’s a place where it draws a crowd of local techies, VCs and startup peeps.
The grand open kitchen exhibits chefs ambition and pure talent with the magical cuisines they put together. Each dish is contemporary, thoughtfully composed with unexpected ingredients.
Wood Grilled Monterey Bay Squid was oh so tender, and the roe adds an extra layer of sensible luxury.
Yukon Gold Potato Gnocchi was bursting with flavors and the pistachio and truffle create a surprising texture.
Oak Grilled Dry Aged Ribeye was beyond approachable and satisfying.
Kung Fu Tea Chocolate was insanely creative and challenges you to step out of your comfort zone in a very good way.
Wine selection was beyond imagination as it is designed to court those where having a budget is not an option.

Wasabi-ish Ice Cream???
Have you ever had wasabi-ish ice cream? If not, you are in luck as you can find such flavor at Salt & Straw in San Francisco.
Wasabi Flowers & Green Apple Sorbet - Salt & Straw
REAL WASABI! Most of the wasabi you've probably had in your life is green colored horseradish, but this here is the real deal. Frog Eyes Farm grows wasabi on the Oregon Coast and we are so excited to get to use it in this eye popping flavor.

Cave Like Dining Experience in Redwood City
When we walked in Mandaloun, we felt like we entered an
exotic European cave where our experience will be unforgettable.
It’s at a great location where we completely enjoyed
delicious aromatic foods with
flavors that are rich and bold, yet light and distinct. We felt like we were
experiencing France, Italy, Greece and many other food loving regions of the
Southern Mediterranean Coast all at the same time.
The best part was the service was excellent and the staff
were attentive. We even got to meet the owner who is exceptionally passionate
about what the restaurant has to offer.

Dancing...Not with the Stars
So we decided to take up some dancing lessons, specifically
hip hop...we were hoping with the new moves learned, we can show off at clubs.
We signed up at CY Dance Studio in Belmont and the place was
large, bright and nice speaker where sound projects well.
CY Dance Works Studio | LIfe is a Dance, from one stage to the next...
These dancers make it look so easy....it's not....it
requires dedication, practice, memorization and repetition. Although we can't
be on Dancing with the Stars yet, but we are hopeful one day we will make it!!!

Sparkling Wine Celebration
We got to meet the only person in the world to hold both the
Master Sommelier and Advanced Certified Wine Professional credentials, in
addition, she sabered the Champagne with a sword!!! She did so with panache and
flair!!!
It was an evening filled with anticipation, excitement,
deliciousness and satisfaction.
We got to taste 5 different sparkling wines and each glass
accompanied with food that completely compliments each other which made our
enjoyment to the next level.
We started off with popcorn with truffle salt and thyme.
Wine of choice: Bortolotti Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Valdobbiadene Veneto Italy, $15.99
Then we had mini crab cakes. Wine of choice: Dibon Cava Brute Reserve Vilafranca del Penedes Spain, $9.99
Next we had gruyere gougeres. Wine of choice: Rene Geoffroy Expression Premier Cru Brut Champagne France, $49.99
Then we had cornmeal blint with smoked salmon and crème
fraiche. Wine of choice: Moncuit Cuvee Pierre Moncuit-Delos Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne France, $49.99
We finished off with cheese course. Wine of choice: Ayala Rose Majeur Brut Champagne France, $65.99
We love the packet they gave us which included all the wines

experience at the comfort of our home with our lovely friends and family!
